‘Band’s I should have seen last night, but didn’t’
So. Enraged.
I was very excited to see that CSS were coming to Vancouver, and for only $27 how could I not. So I go to this record store to buy my tickets one afternoon.($4 per ticket ‘booking fee’ compared to ticket masters $10.75) Finally the day arrived. With ‘Vogue Theatre, Doors 8pm, Show 9pm’ printed right there on my ticket I rolled up to the venue just before 10pm.
‘Tonight’s CSS show has moved to VENUE’ (There’s a venue here called Venue, go figure)
Ok, fair enough, it’s a block away.
‘Hi, we’re here for CSS’
‘Show’s over’
‘I’m sorry?’
‘Show’s over’
‘I’m not sure you understand, we’re here to see CSS’
‘Yeah, the show’s over’
*pulls out tickets* ‘Well, according to this ticket, show was due to start at 9pm’
‘Yeah, at the Vogue. When they moved the show here the moved the time forward 2hours, we have to be a nightclub by 10pm’
‘Are you serious?’
‘Yeah’
‘….. ….’ ‘How many people actually showed up then?’
‘Less than 200’
‘……. ……. ……. …..’
RAGE. Who’s face do I rip off now?
